Easter Worship – April 4, 2021

Celebrate Easter hope with us at 10am on April 4. After a difficult year, join us in celebrating the mystery of resurrection amidst death, the mystery of hope amidst despair, the mystery of life amidst death. The Easter message invites us to reflect on that hope which defies simple words. Let us hope that life might lift us up together.

In-person worship requires masks and social distancing. The service will also be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube live.

Good Friday Worship – April 2, 2021

Worship with us at FBC JXN at 6:30pm on April 2 for our special Good Friday service. We will worship with music, reflection, and Scripture readings telling of Jesus’ faithfulness in the face of violence. Through the music and reading of Scripture, you’re invited to reflect on your own faithfulness in following Jesus in the world today.
In-person worship requires masks and social distancing. The service will also be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube live.

Drive Up Ashes

Come by downtown Jackson to receive ashes for Ash Wednesday. Anytime from 4:30pm-6pm, you can pull up into the parking lot next to the church to receive ashes and/or a prayer for blessing from the comfort of your car.

We are located on 201 S. Jackson St. between Washington Ave. and Cortland St., across from the old Citizen Patriot building.

THANK YOU to our neighbors at County National Bank for allowing us to use their parking lot. They are wonderful neighbors; thank them for us if you get a chance. Please don’t hinder any vehicles from getting through the bank’s drive thru lanes and ATM.

If you’re interested in worshiping with us for our Ash Wednesday service beyond receiving the ashes, watch online on YouTube or Facebook.

Christmas Eve Service

We invite you to celebrate Christmas with us from the comfort of your home. Our Christmas Eve service will be pre-recorded for the safety of our community and to enable some special opportunities.

On Christmas Eve, join us online at 6pm for our Christmas Eve service filled with singing, scripture, and reflection. We have some special musical moments planned for our Christmas Eve service that we’re especially excited for. You’ll want to join us on time for Christmas Eve as some of our special surprises will be scattered throughout the service.

Visit our worship online page on Christmas Eve for updated links to the service on Facebook and YouTube.

For those who don’t have internet service, please reach out to the church office to receive a DVD of both services in advance so that you can worship with us at the same time as though worshiping online.
