Christmas Day Worship (Online Only)

For Christmas Day, which falls on a Sunday this year, we’re bringing our Sunday worship directly into our homes. We have a special online only Sunday worship with music, prayer, and scripture brought to you pre-recorded from the homes of our pastor, worship leader, and more. The service will be online on our YouTube and Facebook page. As always, you can see it right here at our Worship Online page. If you’d like a DVD copy of this service made available the night before at our Christmas Eve service, please reach out to the church office.

Santa Visits Café Connection

Bring your kids and grandkids to Café Connection on this special night, where Santa is coming to town! Free photo opportunities with Santa will be available throughout the night.

Café Connection is a restaurant style dinner experience with warm food, excellent service, and creative opportunities for meaningful conversation. Even better, it comes without a restaurant price tag. Our meals are free as the ministry is supported by donations and not dinner receipts. The café is open from 4:30 – 7pm. Learn more about Café Connection at CafeConnection.org.

2022 Annual Meeting

Mark your calendars for this year’s annual meeting! We will be meeting after worship on Sunday, November 13. Join us after worship for a free lunch followed by a business meeting.

Level Up Saturday – Aug 20

Spiritual curiosity fosters growth and a braveness to explore greater answers. If you want to ask better questions about any Bible passage, join us for FBC JXN’s half day retreat – Level Up Saturday. This retreat is about leveling up your Bible reading time.

The retreat will include two training sessions led and facilitated by Pastor Dallas. The first training session is a how-to for asking better questions of any Bible passage. The second training session invites participants to group up around specific Bible passages to practice asking questions of the text.

The retreat doors open at 8:30am for breakfast treats prior to our 9am first training session and concludes with a group lunchtime starting at Noon with others like you who are also longing to level up their faith.

RSVP online or by calling the church office at 517-784-3151.

The cost of the retreat is $25 per participant to cover meals and supplies. Some financial assistance is available. Donate online or by contacting the church office.

Jackson Rose Parade

The Jackson County Rose Parade, after a 2 year hiatus during the pandemic, will return on Sunday, June 5th in Downtown Jackson. New this year, the parade will run a different route, the same as the Downtown Jackson Christmas Parade route. Starting at Blackstone Street, the Parade will travel east on Michigan Avenue and conclude at One Energy Plaza.

After church on June 5, help us set up and hand out popcorn and lemonade to our downtown neighbors coming to enjoy the parade. After, enjoy the parade, food trucks, and the benefits of being a downtown church.

Maundy Thursday

Worship with us at FBC JXN at 7pm on April 14 for our special Maundy Thursday worship. We will worship with music, reflection, and Scripture readings telling of Jesus’ faithfulness in the face of temptation. Through the music and reading of Scripture, you’re invited to reflect on your own faithfulness in following Jesus in the world today.
Join us for worship in person or online.

Easter Worship

Celebrate Easter hope with us at 10am. In a world filled with divided perspectives and headlines, we assemble around a common story of hope for today. Join us as we celebrate God, life, and hope.

The service will also be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube live.

We have other morning opportunities for Easter. Join us for a sunrise worship outside our church building along Cortland St. at 8am, followed by an Easter breakfast at 9am.
