Immanuel Lutheran’s Food Pantry

Immanuel Lutheran’s Food Pantry is open every Saturday from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 8:45am. The doors close at 11:30 a.m. but if you are in the church at that time, you will still be able to get food! Be aware that the pantry averages about 260 clients each week!

The pantry works very hard to provide a balanced variety of food items. Each week they provide choices in these categories – Bakery, Meat, Grocery Items, Canned Vegetables, Fruits, Breakfast Items and a variety of snacks.

All clients are required to show ID’s and fill out a form required by the Food Bank of South Central Michigan (FBSCM). There is no required proof of need to receive items.

Jackson Personal Care Ministry

The Jackson Personal Care Ministry, a ministry of Love INC and supported by many Jackson area churches, is a pantry-style ministry that provides personal and household items to Jackson County residents.

Items include: Combs, Soap, Shampoo, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Feminine Products, Dish Detergent, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, All Purpose Cleaners, Razors, Lip Balm, Lotion, Deodorant, and Laundry Soap.

The pantry is open to Jackson County residents. Guests must bring a proof of residence that includes a current Jackson address. (A recent piece of mail, rent receipt, official papers, MI Drivers License, MI State ID, etc. are all acceptable). Only 1 person per household may receive supplies per week.
