Easter Breakfast

Join us around 9am on Sunday, April 9, for our Easter Breakfast, highlighted by wonderful breakfast casseroles! The breakfast will be taking place after our Easter Sunrise worship that starts at 8am and lasts around 30 minutes. So, breakfast may begin a little before 9am, but guests are welcome as you arrive. There is no charge for the breakfast.

We hope you’ll join us for our other Easter activities. There is a 8am sunrise service outdoors alongside our church property along Cortland St. After the breakfast, we will have our Easter worship service at 10am.

Lenten Dinner: Prayer Session

Join us during Lent for our Lenten Dinners and Discussions. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is available at 5:15pm, but all are welcome to eat as they are able to arrive.

The main entree will be provided. If able, please bring a side dish or dessert to be passed around.

At 6pm, we will offer a program featuring FBCJXN members and ministries as well as community partners.

This week’s discussion is a session on prayer. Marilynn Fryer will help lead the group in our prayer time as we pray about our lives, our church, and our world.

At 6pm, we will offer a program featuring FBCJXN members and ministries as well as community partners.

This week’s Lenten discussion is: “Love INC and Jackson’s Opportunities and Challenges.” Love INC director, Shaunta Patton, will share with the group about Love INC’s current work, and the opportunities and challenges facing our city.

Join us during Lent for our Lenten Dinners and Discussions. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is available at 5:15pm, but all are welcome to eat as they are able to arrive.

At 6pm, we will offer a program featuring FBCJXN members and ministries as well as community partners.

This week’s Lenten discussion is: “A Trip to the Holy Land.” The program will feature a photo tour of the Holy Land by Don Freese, Isolte Beal, and Max Beal. We’ll hear about their trip, what it was like, and what it meant to be able to go.

We hope you’ll join us for our other Easter activities. There is a sunrise service outdoors at Bucky Harris Park (2 blocks from the church). After the breakfast, we will have our combined Easter worship service.

This week’s Lenten discussion is: “What brought me to FBCJXN?” We’ll talk about what originally brought our panel to the church, but we’ll also be asking what continues to bring them to church. It will be a time to hear about meaningful moments in our church’s past, present, and future.
