Coming Back From Violence

We’ve all been hurt. When we get hurt, we often retaliate. The cycle of pain continues. How does it stop? This week, we look to the story of Paul’s transformation from persecutor to an apostle for an example of hope for restoration. The season of Easter is a season of restoration.

Jesus was restored to life and vindicated against his accusers. In Easter’s resurrection, we are restored too. The hopeless are restored to purpose. The scattered are restored to a community. The injured are restored to health.

Life wasn’t easy in 2020. After a year of global trauma, you are not alone in seeking a new moment of peace, hope, and joy. Join us in the season of Easter as we read from the stories of Jesus’ followers who are restored and given purpose for the journey ahead. May we all find the courage to spread the good news to those around us.
