Are We Really Not Suppose to Judge

Responding to real questions, Pastor Dallas’s sermon series engages with real faith questions. Some of the questions might seem irreverent and you might wonder if it’s okay to talk about. If we only answer safe questions, we aren’t actually safe for questions. There aren’t always easy answers, but there is always an opportunity to grow and find God in the midst of life’s questions.

This week’s question is: Are we really not supposed to judge people? In reality, we judge non-stop, like our “radar” is always on. Society ranks people by jobs, income, or status. Schools judge us and workplaces judge us. In our personal lives, we judge to see if we have anything in common with another. We judge to see if they are friend or foe. So, are we really not supposed to judge people?
